they are looking for dump truck drivers in western australia all the time,mate im busting to get in aswell,as a grader driver,i dont have much experience so im finding it hard,i think its a matter of not what you know but WHO you know,they make out like its sooooo easy but when you pay all this money to get tickets and training and it freakin aint cheap,i paid $2500 for my grader ticket from scratch $800 for generics course which you GOT to have before anyone will even look at you for work in mines.NOW after all that and more dont get me wrong thats only the start,after all that they want all this experience,wont even look at ya unless you got a couple of years or more exp.how do you get it when none will give you ago,im goin threw the same shit man and ive done pretty much everything,the best thing i could say is just keep trying,or like my grader ticket trainer said to me just lie about your exp. but i cant do that cuase i dont want to get out there and look like an idiot,anyway good luck and just keep trying.

First of all, I don’t see in your list of skills and qualifications a Class 1 air drivers license.. Look in the yellow pages for Driving courses and get into a Class 1 air training course for your air ticket, etc. Trucking companies are literally screaming for Class 1 drivers with air. Check out the Job classifieds. You’ll see. The Class 1 air training course is about $1600.
