What you need to know about Forklift Training

Forklift Driver Klaus – The First Day on the Job (Forklift Training Video, Clean)

A couple of years ago my friend showed me this video. I had a good laugh, never realizing that one day my Major would take occupational safety quite seriously. Not surprisingly, I remembered this video. I have never used a forklift in my life, but I remembered everything shown in this video because of how well done it was. Work training videos are hardly ever entertaining and these guys did the right thing. Sure, you have a good laugh, but you remember the dangers of working in a warehouse quite clearly- just as I did. Some may call this a mockery, but I call it a clever way to spice up an otherwise boring training day on workers. I guarantee they would remember this video. In this particular upload of the video, I went ahead and edited out most of the ketchup blood and gore, despite it being relative to something you would see in a 60′s or 70′s film. While I did not find it offensive, others may- particularly in the Occupational Safety and Health class I edited this for. Please, on the off chance you too are interested in showing this to a queasy audience, use this version. Oh, it also has subtitles. Most versions on youtube do not. Information: en.wikipedia.org

  1. At 4:46 shouldn’t Klaus know better than to try to start the engine when the tinker is still fixing the fork lift? It’s not shown from 5:00 to 5:12,unless the fork lift is fix at other place.

  2. Why censor the gory parts, which are the only part that really HAMMER IN the message?

  3. just another day at the office
