I am 20 years old and am intrested in gettinf my fork lift licence. Does any one know any were in glasgow were you can do training and take the test. And how much would it cost all together roughly as i would be paying for it myself. Thanks
If you have been unemployed for six months the job centre should send you on the course for free. I have two R>T>I>T>B Licences.

It has been my experience that most companies require their own forklift driving certificate.
Even if you have obtained a certificate to operate a forklift from some other company, and you start working for another company, they will require you to take the required training material for their own needs.
When you go work for a certain company, you can ask them if they have their own forklift certificate training material or do they accept a previous one. They should pay for you to complete your training.
If you do want to get it on your own, I am sure the fees are minimal at the most.
Ofcourse I work in the nuclear energy industry and I know they have strict rules. But When I was in college I interned with Whirlpool and Another company as an engineer and I know they both required their own training regardless of whether you have had it before!
