my dad is starteing a buissness to teach MSHA and OSHA classesand he asked me to design a logo for it. well all of the ideas that i have are all trademarked so i cannot use them. so if any one has any logo ideas, please send me them. so i guess my question would be does anyone have any logos? we are looking for an aztec/spanish/mayan type looking eagle with the letters E, M, T, around it. EMT stands for eagle mining training. anyone with ideas send me a messege at skunk4848@yahoo.com plz.
Your dad should be willing to pay for this service, the way he should be prepared to pay for his other business expenses, such as unforms, hard hats, tools, vehicles, fuel, secretarial and accounting services, etc.
It's fine that he asks his family for help, but it's entirely unfair for you to turn around and ask us to give to him, for free, what we charge our clients good money. A good logo has value, the same as his company's good name. He wouldn't expect his local print shop to run off a few thousand sheets of company letterhead for free. Would he stand on a street corner begging strangers for handouts so that he can make the next payroll?
Either produce a piece of original work for him, or be ready to suggest to him that he seek a professional to do a professional job for him.
