Introduction to OSHA

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration, or OSHA, is a federal agency that creates safety regulations in U.S. workplaces. Upon completion of this learning event, employees will demonstrate knowledge of OSHAs role in the workplace and how it works to increase worker safety. Employees will learn why OSHA was created, its goals and organizational structure, OSHAs inspection and citation procedures, and what resources OSHA offers to workers.
