What you need to know about Forklift Training

what do people do for OSHA training classes? let me know ok.?

I have OSHA training class on saturday all day. I am a scene support fire fighter . I never been to OSHA class before . so give me clues on what will I be doing.

There are basics for every OSHA class, sounds like from your post that this will be an OSHA 10 hr. training.

Here is a list of the general industry topics: web link: http://www.osha.gov/dte/outreach/construction_generalindustry/general_industry.html

Break down of the topics as follows:

For the remaining two class hours:

Special Industry Recommendations:
In addition to the six mandatory hours, the groups noted below should also teach the following:

At least 1/2 hour each – Ergonomics and Workplace Violence
Maintenance – Ergonomics and (if applicable) Powered Industrial Trucks
Utility – Ergonomics, Powered Generation, and Confined Spaces

Since you are a FF I would assume the special topics will some how impact FF Strategy and the OSHA law. Good luck and it is not the worst training…
